U11-12 DIVISIONAL
2025/26 Fall-Winter Divisional Season

Our divisional teams compete in the BCCSL league with teams currently offered for players U11-U12. We provide professional, age-appropriate soccer coaching to all new and experienced soccer players looking to play in a divisional team.

We strive to create team environments in which every player can be successful. Players will be assessed prior to registration and placed into a team with others of similar ability to ensure they can compete in a team that is developmentally appropriate.

Your child's enrolment in the VRFC Divisional Academy will include:
1) Two training sessions per week
Our team training will take place on Tuesday and Friday evenings at Trillium Field and will run from 6:30-8:00pm
Tuesday evening classes will focus on technical development and developing team principles of play. Sessions will be dynamic with players having a ball at their feet for the majority of the session to maximize their skill development and confidence in 1v1 scenarios.
Our Friday sessions will focus on game related topics allowing our coaches to implement game strategies with the players and build game awareness.

Throughout the season we will have some classroom sessions in lieu of regular training to complete mental skills workshops and game analysis. These dates will be communicated ahead of time.

2) Top quality coaching from a certified team
To ensure our players are receiving quality training, our team of energetic and experienced coaches hold recognized coaching certifications. They are experienced in coaching children all over the world, including the UK, China, USA, Brazil, Argentina, and Canada.
Your player will stay with the same coaching team through the season so they can bond with their coach and form authentic connections with their teammates.
3) Weekly league play
As members of our divisional teams, players will have the opportunity to play in league games every weekend from September - March.

These games will take place across the lower mainland on Saturdays with the game time and location changing weekly. All team communication and scheduling will be completed via TeamSnap.

It is expected that players can attend weekly games.

4) Exceptional learning opportunities
VRFC players will have additional opportunities to play against other teams in the lower mainland via exhibition matches and tournaments.
Players can also sign up for additional training through our small group sessions.

We also host community events throughout the year to allow our players to be apart of something bigger including our tournament at BC Place.
